This project consisted of the completion of 12 apartments within a three-storey building for our client, Jigsaw Homes. As the original contractor entered administration and was unable to complete the works, we were approached by Jigsaw to complete the project from the existing structure and add the roof coverings, windows, complete an internal fit-out, together with the drainage, services and the associated external works.

Following our due diligence of the existing works, we entered a contract to complete the project with a revised programme timescale.
The recommencement of the works involved us introducing new supply chain partners to work with us, alongside retaining a number of the original parties to the works as well as working with the original design team.
Our team took the opportunity to review the design of scheme, where we enhanced and improved the internal layouts together with external works improvements, this brought a wider benefit to the new occupiers of the development.

J. Greenwood Builders completed the scheme on behalf of Jigsaw Homes North. Their work was immaculate and their attention to every detail was faultless. They took on board all of our requirements and provided us with a dream scheme on completion, not only in terms of quality but with the all-important paperwork being well presented. J. Greenwood Builders, at their own expense, went above and beyond their remit and carried out external improvement works at the Community Centre located next to the site. The Manager of the Community Centre was extremely grateful to receive works to improve the communal areas outside the Centre, which added real social value to the Peel Lane scheme
