Social Value
We recognise that our responsibility extends beyond the delivery of successful projects for our clients. As a socially responsible company, we also have a duty to the local and wider environment, to the people who work for and with us, to the communities we work among; and to manage our business in the most sustainable way we can.
What is Social Value?
Social Value is the conscious effort on the part of a business or organisation to deliver outcomes that benefit local communities and/or society – whether that be through social, economic or environmental means. For example, Social Value could be added through the creation of jobs and economic growth; by helping students into the world of work via mock interviews; by improving the local environment; or by strengthening community cohesion.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
We often look to help out the communities surrounding our projects. When working on our Peel Lane scheme, we offered our help to the neighbouring Community Centre to help tidy up and revitalise their garden to enable this space to be used by visitors.

It is the most fantastic, precise, and perfect job! couldn't have wished for more, your guys were so professional, hardworking, and conscientious it was a pleasure having them work on our garden area.
The completion of these works have enabled our community to get the most out of the space, which has been opened up and made more accessible for those with a disability and for the children to play out on. In the summer we can now buy tables and chairs and enjoy the space, along with building a raised bed for us to grow our own food.
I can't thank you enough, it's companies like you and your guys who make this world a better place for those who have little."
CHARITY FUNDRAISING
We are no strangers to raising money for charities, whether that is donating directly to charities to support our supply chains’ fundraising or sending our Chairman, John, to Vietnam for nine continual days of cycling between 95-140kms through jungle routes and mountains in temperatures up to 35 degrees to raise money for The Dean Masom Hope Tribute Fund (The Christie) and Once Upon a Smile.
Fundraising for Macmillan
On top of the "Cycling Adventures of John" we like to participate in fundraising events throughout the year. The office team participated in "Macmillan Coffee Morning" last year and raised £265 between them!
We regularly participate in popular fundraising events such as Children in Need, Christmas Jumper Day and more.
