The works consisted of the demolition of the former Pellowe House in Withington releasing the former brownfield land to allow for the design and construction of a new three storey building which will provide 24 one and two bedroom apartments for Southway Housing together with communal parking and a combination of hard and soft material designed to create an external space for residents and visitors to use.

The development will offer 100% of the dwellings to be delivered as affordable housing, significantly in excess of the Councils 20% affordable housing policy normally expected for the site and so helping the City Council achieve its annual target for new affordable homes.
